Anime Ramblings
Ahhh, it's been so relaxing these past few days... XD Despite being on the computer for several hours a day, I just can't bring myself to do anything productive like update the club website or post on LJ. I haven't even touched MSN since the day I got back home! XD
Had lots of fun seeing a lot of my relatives on the 24th and 25th (our annual family get-together days). My cousins and I pretty much spent all two days playing Soul Calibur III or watching the first few episodes of Azumanga Daioh! I think I'm getting a little better with Talim and Seung Mina (or Seong Mi-Na as her name's now spelt O_o), although it's hilarious being cheap with Astaroth! The first couple of episodes of AD were so random and pointless (kind of funny but not really any scenes that made me laugh out loud), but then got a little better now that I'm near the middle of the series. Sakaki-san's so cool! I feel so bad for her when she never gets to pet any of the crazy bear trap-mouthed cats! XD
Oh, for Christmas, I ended up getting some nice clothes from my sister, some cash from relatives, and and iPod Nano from my parents (I wasn't surprised since I was the one that asked them for it and placed the online order =P) iTunes is such a pain since I used Media Player before and the fact that the song details don't automatically update properly in iTunes after they've been changed in WMP >___< Oh well, can't complain since I can finally stop using my crappy CD player with only 20 or so songs max =P
Went out Boxing Day shopping with my sister early in the morning and she took me around all these clothing outlets out on Highway 7 and Weston. Got some nice jeans and a t-shirt from Guess and a sweater from Stitches. I ended up taking a 5-hour nap when we got back at 2 since I had only slept for 2 and a half hours the night before (watching anime and such). Spent the rest of the day playing Disgaea and catching up on more anime/torrenting.
Tuesday was almost a complete write-off since the moment I woke up, I started playing Disgaea and didn't stop until 2am, then watched some anime for a few more hours ^____^ On the plus side, I finished Ichigo 100% (TV series/5 OVAs/Special). Not the best series, but enjoyable nonetheless. I love the OVA opening (Kimiiro 100%) but can't find it anywhere! <=( If I were Manaka, I'd probably go for Tojou, but in real life, I'd probably want someone more like Nishino.
Today was pretty much as much of a waste of time as yesterday, since I played Disgaea for another 8 hours or so. It's so addictive but I realize that all I've been doing is levelling my 20+ characters this entire time and barely progressing through the story at all! XD;;; I also finished watching Macross Zero today. Great animation/CG sequences and a story that's self-explanatory so someone who hasn't seen the original Macross series isn't lost. I also watched episode 62 of Bleach and all I can say is that I'm glad Byakuya's not a cold-hearted bastard like I've pegged him to be throughout the entire series. But damn, it's another 2 week break between episodes...this sucks! >__<
Oh, to meemobunny, congrats on finishing FMA! I haven't even started it yet due to constantly being distracted by videogames! It's so hard to be a gamer and an anime fan at the same time! XD Once I'm done Azumanga Daioh and possibly Loveless, I'll get started on FMA (hopefully there'll be enough time left in the break! XD) There's even a School Rumble OVA that's just been released, as well as news of more OVAs and a 2nd season! Yaay!
