AWA Con Report!
This is going to be kinda long, so it's all going under an LJ-cut.
Remember, this is what I did the whole weekend so a lot was missed (like panels and such), but I figured everyone would like to know what I was up to.
I only took 2 pictures the whole weekend since it would've been too much of a hassle on Saturday to carry around a camera. I'll post the 2 I took later, and I'm searching for pics of our DNAngel cosplay and the photoshoot...so I'll have those pictures at a later date.

Friday:
I am never again leaving my house at 3 am to go to a convention. The trip started at 3 am and ended about 10:15 am...made good time actually, and I almost made it on 1 full tank of gas (wasn't going to try it). I got there in Sora with my keyblade and went into the registration line...which was friggin' long. Evenstar flagged me down since she recognized the keyblade XD. Dark showed up as I was close to getting my badge, and he went to stand in line with his sister. I got my badge, and I was ready to keel over since I was exhausted. I stood in line again to stay with Dark, and then we went to find the room (since we had to wait for one). Got to the room, put our stuff away (evenstar brings too much shit...), and I promptly crashed on the pillows on one of the beds.
Around 4 pm or 5 pm (never looked at the time), I stole Dark's sister's Tasuki cosplay and ran around in that. We went to the dealer's room and just searched, and I got the only 2 pics I could (XD) of the PikaBug. Then we sat down in the lobby of the hotel and just talked and watched everyone go by for who knows how long.
Around 8 pm or so we changed again into Jammies!Daisuke (got to carry around a Wiz plushie X3) and Dark (no wings...and he agreed to wear my Yuna skirt...which didn't happen >>), and I carried a sign around that said "Will Yaoi 4 Fangirls" XD We actually got asked to yaoi maybe 3 or 4 times, so I was amused. Don't know what time it was when we got back to the room since we walked around the outside of the hotel for a while, but after that, both of us crashed for the night.

Saturday:
Dear God what a hell of a day XD We all got up and dressed in time to line up for the cosplay contest, and Dark's wings were a friggin' hassle...as well as an obstruction the entire day XD People don't understand the words "Big wings; look out" for some reason. But we stood in line FOREVER for judging and went to walk around after judging was done. We had actually decided not to take his wings off since it was going to be a hassle just to put them back on. Everyone wanted our pictures, and since we sort of had limited movement, we only had about 1 pose. We sat in a corner for about 3 hours before our photoshoot, and once we sat down (I was able to lay down since my wings weren't huge), everyone swarmed to get pics since it was a shonen-ai moment XD We had to go to the lobby for the photoshoot, so we got up from our corner around 2 and headed down the stairs...where Vic promptly shouted "DARK!" since he was behind us XD We couldn't turn around so I turned around and went "We can't turn ar--oh God it's Vic!" and I made sure Dark was safe to turn around. Vic seriously spazzed over our cosplays and got a pic, then waved his camera and went "I have got to get in this!" and got a pic with us. I asked him to do Dark's voice for me, and he did >3 I had a fangirl moment and went "OMG~! *squee*" and we then went to the lobby. It was funny later on since we were told that we were mentioned at one of Vic's panels XD Our photoshoot happened around 3 pm since we had to wait for our Satoshi, and we had fun with that XD We went back inside and crashed again in one of the corners, and more pics were taken. We even had 2 girls come over to us and bow in front of us which was amusing XD Then we actually lined up for the contest. That was a nightmare since it was seriously unorganized. They didn't even have me and Dark paired together, but that was promptly fixed. Dark had to struggle to get on stage (which I found slightly amusing...), and there was an uproar of applause since you usually don't see both of the characters (it's usually one or the other). After getting off the stage we had to fight our way back into the room, and we sat in the back corner. We didn't win anything (we weren't expecting to anyway), and we waited for almost everyone to clear out to get his wings out the door. Got our pics taken by afansview.com, and I took his wings off in the lobby where we then fought to get them on the elevator and up to the room. We changed and relaxed for a bit and watched Trinity Blood with everyone. They all went to eat and we had our time together...then we went to eat, and got lost because of his directions (>D yes I'm blaming you!). It wasn't so bad since I knew where we were going after a while, and we went to McDonalds and grabbed food...that was about 2:30 am XD We all crashed about 3:30 am

Sunday:
The alarm went off at 7:30 am were I told whoever's alarm it was to "turn it the fuck off." Everyone but me, Dark, and his sister went to Vic's service panel...and Dark found evenstar's Xemnas jacket >D Since I all ready had a death wish, his sister dared me to walk around the con in it. SO...I did >D I grabbed the lightsabers and walked around the con for a while. I had my pic taken by afansview.com in it (don't worry, I'll post it with the others), and we went to look for Vic's panel. Once we found it, I had the lightsabers turned on. We went in near the back...and this is where I started to feel really bad. I asked "Is this actually supposed to be like a church service?" and finding out that it really was, I turned off the lightsabers. Unfortunately, they made noise and sort of interrupted the service. I felt SERIOUSLY BAD for interrupting it since I know how important they are (I'm Catholic...believe me...I know). Evenstar saw us so we raced back to the hotel room and had to wait for Dark's sister to come back since we didn't have a key to get into the room. I quickly got out of the jacket, and we made our way to the Dealer's room. I bought some Yu-Gi-Oh! yaoi (woot!), and Dark bought me a yuri paddle (since they were sold of of yaoi ones...but I'll get a yaoi paddle at Animazement '07). We made our way back up to the room...after climbing 9 fucking flights of stairs (!!! never fucking again >>), and I nearly died when we got into the room. We had an hour to ourselves until evenstar came back and scolded us. We apologized since we both felt really bad (but it was worth it to be honest...) and started to clear out the room. I was out at/around 3 pm and made it home around 9:45 pm.
