She remembered the feeling.
The teeth sunk deep into her flesh, spreading the poison throughout her body, staining her blood black as pitch. Tips of fangs brushed dangerously against the bones of her spinal column, lingering for only a moment for the injection, leaving nothing to remember but a delicate tri-sided mark--calligraphy upon her back.
The pain had lasted much longer, and driven her almost to insanity. Part of her, she's assured, stayed over that line.
She remembered the feeling.
Trapped within the darkness--hot, fetid, nothing but her own screams around her--the symphony of her body's agony in dissonant vocal form. She trashed and revolted, the only cognizant thought being survival, a shrill siren crying through the jumbled storm that was once her thoughts and emotions. The calligraphy wrote itself in acidic ink across her form, bleeding her into something almost inhuman--bringing her body and mind to an almost erotic climax, every nerve on end, every pulse and breath shuddering as if it would not make it through the tsunami of sensation about to break. All from a single tiny pill. A pill that had brought the large death and the little death crashing together into one electrifying moment.
She'd given up her everything for him. Her life and her bondage were one and the same---her freedom and yet her chains---all tied to him. In him she'd found power and existence, but in him she'd also found her limit and imprisonment.
So, as she lay dying, physical life merging and drowning into the abyssal sea of death, she could remember no feeling of herself. Only the feelings he'd painted upon her soul--in inky lines of onyx venom.
