Wow, okay, normally I'm onboard with whatever KT's doing, but... really? Wow, that seems like he was just like "Yeah, she already got a huge big scene with Hitsugaya, let's wrap it up".
It also irritates me because Starrk got a little bit of backstory and an ok fight, Barrigan got a decent bit and a decent fight (until the end), but will Harribel get anything? Probably not.
She was my favorite too--and to see her snuffed out without a thought, so callously...it really makes me sick.
Also, I wonder if Kubo is picking up Kishimoto's sexist tendencies?
It might be too much to hope that she survives and turns good, huh? Or at least helps the good guys in some way. that'd at least be a saving throw of some kind.
No, going Vegeta is strictly reserved for Grimmjow at this point.
I'm torn, mainly because Aizen & his goons are the last, best hope for any of the Shinigami finally suffering some casualties, but damn. That was ice cold.
Maybe it'll all end up being a Kyouka Suigetsu illusion and all the good vizards are still alive.
The more I think about it, the fishier this looks. Hallibel's 'aspect' of death is 'sacrifice', so there's *got* to be something going on there. Plus "You're weak and I'm leaving" is a piss-poor excuse for this. Plus, it's happening at the end of a chapter? Oh hale no!
It's either some kind of illusion, or he's leaving here there as some kind of plant among the good guys (maybe her 'dying confession' or whatever will be one more red herring. Or maybe she'll survive and pretend to turn good to screw the good guys over. Or maybe she'll really turn good).
I'm just not buying that Aizen's dumb enough to stab one of his minions and just leave them there, even if he *is* about to get his goal. IT'S A SET UP.
Cheap. D:

By the looks of things....it doesn't seem probable that it's a fake-out.
But, then again, Aizen's done it before.
In any case....I really hope he did. Harribel didn't even get a backstory like the others.
