There's only one one one one one!

Well, I finally made it. I went to Lagoon. My cousin had four tickets so Clint and I took my cousins kids Dallas and Colton. I haven't been since 9th grade Lagoon day....shoot....that was ten years ago. Now I feel old and I'm only 25. A lot had changed, mostly for the better, except one thing....THE BAT. That was honestly a waste of time to wait in line for and we only had to wait 2 minutes. For bejebus's sake the ride didn't even last as long as it took to get to the ride. It was like riding Puff with your feet dangling down. I actually think Puff went faster than this ride did.

I think my favorite two rides have to be The Spider and the Samurai.

Clint and my cousins all went on the Rocket. I'm not a big fan of falling no matter how safe it is so I sat out for this one.

What is a trip anywhere for a botanist if they can't find awesome plants to look at. Well, I found a beautiful pink hibiscus.

I find it interesting how many toxic plants are often used in landscaping. Right atthe entrance to the park are purple bee plants (Cleome sp.) which can cause allergic reactions, but even more toxic is the Castor Bean plants planted in the same garden. Now any good botanist knows that the Castor Bean plant is where the poison ricin comes from. OK, I'm done being nerdy.

We decided that it was time to get wet, so we went on Rattlesnake rapids and the log flume. Right before we got drenched by the waterfall we each got a blast to the face by the people on the sidelines. We rode the majority of the rides and we all pretty much got sick on the tilt-a-whirl or space scrambler, probably because we all needed something to eat.

We ended the day by riding the Samurai and The Spider one last time then spending some money in the arcade.

It was probably one of the funnest days that I've had in a long time.
