Prayer

I was going to ask everyone to please keep the victims of Hurricane Katrina in our prayers and keep our nation in prayer for what appears to be an impending oil crisis. Pray that God will give our political and spiritual leaders strength, courage, and wisdom to deal with this great catastrophe. Pray that God will continue to strengthen us and to hold us up as the light of the world and the salt of the earth. It is not our power and our own strength that carries us through but it is God's. Greater is He that is in me than he who is in the world. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Glory to God in the Highest for He is worthy to be Praised. I will exalt the name of the Lord forever. Just remember that in times of trouble God is always there. He never stops loving us and he never stops waiting to hear us cry out to Him. The Bible says that if we do not cry out the rocks and the trees will cry out in our place, well never let a rock cry out in my place, He is worthy of all my praise. I have a feeling this will be a time of Great testing for us, the devil will try to shake us down and run us into the ground, well well he may get us down but we will not be out. Just remember that in this time of testing, our jobs are not our provider, God is, our material possessions are not our source of happiness, God is. I come to realize in my life that the many, many, times I've gone astray, I could never for the life of me deny that there is a God. Shaken to the depths of my soul, I can't deny Him, and I can't deny how great He is. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord. I pray that God continues to keep you all in his peace, that you continue to take refuge in him as your Strong Tower, and that when the storm comes, you may get beat up, but God will carry you through, you will not wash away because you have built your house upon the solid rock of the Almighty. May God Continue to Keep you and May God continue to bless you! Amen.
