Urgent Prayer Request
Please pray for Florida. I live in Tallahassee , Florida and there is a Category 3 Hurricane hurling towards Tampa ( one of Florida's largest Metropolitan Areas/Urban Centers). Hurricane Charley is expected to make landfall in Tampa with expected winds of 120 miles per hour. A 16 foot storm surge is expected to submerge Macdill Airforce Base and Downtown Tampa and make St. Petersburg Peninsula an Island. The Governor has delcared a State of Emergency and ordered a mandatory evacuation of 2 million people in the vicinity of Tampa. Please pray for the storm to deflect and weaken and that it will have minimal effects. Structural Damage and lives lost due to 120 mile per hour winds will be catastrophic.
