So what the fuck, I'm well on my way to seeing this girl nice n regular like.
Last night we went to eat at Hamburger Mary's on her dinner break. It was a nice dinner, despite my stupid ass ordering a salad. And to think -- the whole hour before I left I told myself like, ten times "Don't get salad!!" It's one of the worst things someone you barely know can see you eat.
I wasn't too much like a five year old, and barely made a dent in my bucket of salad.
I decided that I was gonna be the sweetheart and pay for us to eat, at which point she asked me straight up, "Do I have to put out now?" I told her it was up to her with no pressure, and she assured me that if not tonight, then the next night we went out.
Wwooowwwiiie.
I dropped her off, and she told me she'd call me when she got off work.

So she calls me about quarter after eleven when I was sittin at the bar with Josh. The first words out of her mouth were "Well, now I HAVE to see you again." Turns out she left her Leatherman in my car. And it also turns out that it really wasn't an accident that she left it in my car. "A ploy" as she called it.
So I left the bar and went to her place to drop it off. She lives like right by AMC 30, so it was on my way home.
After she got her dealie back, we just stood outside bullshitting and flirting. She tried to get me to come up, and called me grandma when I stuck to having to come home to get enough sleep before going to work. She tried nice and hard to get me to come up.
And then after that we stood wicked close and talked, and I could tell she wanted to kiss me. Instead I opted for the ten second 'lemme get a good feel for how good your body REALLY is' hug. Complete with lingering hands and the last moment hand touch before walking away.
Score. Fucking.. Score.
I'm not so adamant about being single that I'm gonna be an idiot here. This girl is wicked cute, funny, smart and fun to be with. I dig her.
I don't think I'll have a problem seeing her. And I know she won't have a problem seeing me.
