Fanfiction must be a minimum of 800 words. It must match the theme. You can also use the theme in whichever way you wish. If the theme is the sport 'shooting' for example, you do not have to even bring rifles into it. You could, for example, use another definition of the word and have them doing photography. As with any fanfiction, you must use our community format to post your fic:
Title: Genre: Pairing(s): (If it's just USxUK, you don't need to list this) Word Count: (We don't normally ask for this, but we need it for this week.) Rating/Warnings: Summary: Link: (Alternately, you may post the fanwork on the community under an lj-cut)
IMPORTANT!!! After posting the story to the community, return here and reply with a link to cross the finish line!
Title: Heated Swim Genre: Romance Word Count: 1,445 Rating: T Warnings: Swearing and allusion to sex Summary: They are rivals for swimming, but that might change after their first meet.
First off, congrats! With this you have officially advanced to Round 1, which will start on August 8th.
We will allow one bye (missed day) during Rounds 1 and 2, just reply and let us know "I'm using my bye on this round." Semifinals and Finals must be completed to advance though, so good luck!
Title: Swimming for Gold Word Count: 1,957 Characters: America, England, OC reporters, mentions of Japan, Australia, France, China, Sweden, Russia. Rating/Warnings: PG, swimming talk by someone who doesn't know much about swimming. Summary: Alfred F. Jones and Arthur Kirkland are childhood friends competing for the same gold medal. Just an average day for them, really A/N: So this could take place in 2020, or it could take place sometime further in the future. You decide.

Fanart can be sketch, color, or fancomic, but it needs to be clear you have put some work into it. Basically, don't submit stuff like sketches of mochi in the margins of your notebook. Fanart should include both America and England. As with fanfic, you can use the theme in whichever way you wish. Preview images can be included, but they must be 300x300 or less. Please post with the following format:

Question: if, say, I missed a day or two, doesn't that mean I would not be able to post anything for the subsequent rounds? Man, I hope I could do all themes DX
