house arrest and then some
So i got grounded. yea, i was stupid, but it was fun and i dont even care what people think about it. So i've been on house arrest for a week already, although, it doesnt really feel like it. I wasn't invited to go out last night, except to Costello's party, so it wasn't like my mom has had to tell me no for anything yet-and today, she pretty much told me im off grounding and im a free lady again! i just gotta have legit "girls nights" for a while.
while on house arrest, i have been forced to become the "family type." we spent the day today at the Strawberry Festival. Plenty of rednecks and strawberries to go around! Tomorrow, we're going to the horse races.. even more rednecks. Oh well, at least i might win some money with my bets! May the best-named horse win!
Erica and Heather are gone.. sorry I didn't get to see you girls before you left! I didn't hear from anyone, so I wasn't sure if anything was going on! hope you're safe and having an awesome time!
Spring Break next week! hopefully ill be able to get to the beach a few times.. but work kinda destroys those plans. Oh well, it's an overdue break from school that ive been needing desperately, and it marks the end of 3rd quarter. believe it or not.. 9 weeks left and im outta here! College is gonna be great-I can finally stop worrying about people getting mad at me for stupid stuff! For some reason, in college people have a higher maturity level, in general anyway. I can name a few people who will never grow up and who will keep hanging on to mommy and daddy for the rest of their lives. I guess that's just the way the world works though.
i miss everyone.. not in the literal term.. i miss the way everyone used to be, and the way things used to be.. and the fun we used to have. If i could go back to like, this time last year, or 2 years ago.. I'd be thrilled.
There are some people that leave such an impact on you, that it's hard to forget them, even when you try really really really hard.
