its hard to think that we might actually learn something from going to school and having everyday interaction with people we don't like. The truth is, when we get in to the real world, there will always be people we'd rather throw off a cliff than have to see every day--and there will always be a place that we don't want to be, but are obligated to be anyway. i guess in some ways they really are "preparing us for the future."
i have to say im exciting and anticipatory of the future. I want that responsibility, I want the taste of independence and solidity. One day, I'll have my full-time job and a house and life to enjoy.. but I know that there are some things that just won't change... This is the time for us to make things last--friends, family, memories--and I know I can count on all three.
in 2 weeks it'll be a year since I started working at my office. crazy-to think ive worked in a doctor's office for a year. thats something most people never get to do..and i had the opportunity at 16 and 17! ive been really lucky and fortunate the past year and i think im really prepared to handle life after New Port Richey. I guess all i can say now is bring it on!
