Let's make like a banana and split.

"Maddie, I don't think she can take much more," Doctor Edward Michaels said, medical tricorder whining in his hand. Maddie turned to Michaels with her eyes flashing.

"Are you calling me weak?"

"She is not you," Michaels insisted while standing his ground. He swallowed hard, then cleared his throat before continuing. "In fact, I'm surprised she lasted this long. You humans are usually not this resilient." This statement seemed to placate Maddie and she turned her attention back to Noelle in the chair at the center of the room. If Noelle was conscious, she didn't show any signs of being aware of the two people talking about her.

"Anything you can do to get her ready for more now?" Maddie didn't look at Michaels but the question was clearly directed at him. She had Noelle's chin in her hand as she inspected her face. Noelle reacted mildly to the touch, but her eyes couldn't, or choose not to, focus on her captor.

"She's going to need food and rest before she's ready for any more. Unless you want to kill her," Michaels answered coldly. Maddie snapped around with her eyes afire. When Michaels held her gaze, she sighed.

"I suppose we could try that animal of a woman next. She's half Klingon, she'll likely be good for a while." As she said this, Maddie backed out of the way, and Michaels stepped in to attend to Noelle.

"Don't you suppose we should go somewhere else to figure out how to get Noelle back?" Spiegel asked as he checked Quinn's pulse once again. Diziara didn't even bother to turn her head to look at Spiegel, and the unconscious body of Pukey's doppelganger, when she replied.

"I don't know this station, neither do you. Right now, no one knows we're free because you've overridden the security feeds, and they will eventually bring Noelle back here. For now, it's in our advantage to stay put and plan. See if you can get me some schematics for this station though," Diziara explained with a sigh. "Also, stop fussing over the lunkhead. You checked him out yourself, he's stable and is not going to suddenly stop breathing or living while laying there unconscious." Spiegel muttered to himself as he pulled a PADD out of his pocket and started working. Diziara shifted a little in her spot next to the door, just out of view of someone if they were to enter. She had Quinn's disruptor in hand, and occasionally she'd shoot a sideways glance at Spiegel and their knocked out captor.

"Got it," Spiegel finally said. "Do you have a PADD I can dump it on for you?"

"Do I look like I have room to keep a PADD in this outfit?" She snorted in amusement. Spiegel glanced down at his pockets. "You still haven't hooked me up with a set of your magic pockets."

"Pockets of infinite holding," he corrected her, and she shrugged.

"Whatever you call them, you haven't given me any. If you have a spare PADD, I'll take that for now." Spiegel dug into his pockets, and produced a PADD after some digging. Once he'd transferred the data to it, he handed it over to Diziara. While he stood at her elbow, she skimmed it over, and chewed her lip a moment. "Where do you figure we need to make it in order to get the parts we need to fix the Obama?"

"I'd probably start in engineering, then hit the cargo bays. It shouldn't be hard to get the raw supplies needed, then Noelle and I can put together the first set of phase couplers-"

"First set? Didn't you two figure out what to fix so they won't fail again?"

"We still have to get home. Unless you want to jeopardize your status as Admiral's pet, we need to bring the prototype home with us. So unless they've come up with freight transporters that'll accommodate a runabout sized craft, that means no transporter hop home."

"Okay, just don't call me an Admiral's pet again, or you will regret it."

"You wouldn't kill me." Spiegel looked at Diziara, wearing a smirk that said he knew what he said was true.

"No, I wouldn't." Diziara returned, her flat tone telling him that being right probably wasn't what he should have been hoping for. He quickly turned his attention to the PADD in his hand.

"So, if we cut down this corridor." He pointed out the corridor in question on her PADD, "then drop down this service shaft." Diziara nodded, then her head snapped up.

"Someone's coming, get behind me," she directed as she shoved the PADD into the waistband of her pants at the small of her back. The door slid open, and a security brute came to a stop just inside the door as he saw Quinn's unconscious body laying on the floor inside the holding cell with his force field deactivated. Diziara leveled the disruptor at the guy's head and waited for him to notice her.

"What is going on?!" Maddie demanded, shoving her way into the room. Diziara pointed the disruptor at Maddie instead, and the security brute stood trying to decide what to do.

"Where's Noelle?" Diziara demanded, pressing the tip of the disruptor into the side of Maddie's head. Spiegel had produced a phaser from his pocket, and now had it leveled at the security brute.

"Get her out of here," Maddie directed to whoever was still out in the corridor. Diziara closed the space between her and Maddie, and as she grasped the smaller woman tightly by her upper arm, she moved into the corridor dragging her along at disruptor point. Noelle was being held up by two brutes, and very clearly not in touch with the real world.

"You will release Noelle, or I will shoot Maddie," Diziara commanded. The brutes looked at each other, down at Noelle between them, then at Maddie. Spiegel backed out of the room, into the corridor, and came up along side Diziara while keeping his phaser on the brute who was still back in the room.

"What is there to think about!?" Maddie demanded, and Diziara tightened her grip on the woman's upper arm.

"Seems you're not that popular," Diziara snarked. Spiegel laughed a bit. The brutes released their grip on Noelle, and she dropped to her knees. "Okay, both of you, inside." Diziara nodded back into the room, and the brutes walked inside when Diziara stepped aside, and yanked Maddie out of the way. Spiegel directed them into the holding cell that he, Diziara and Noelle had been occupying earlier, then waited for Diziara to follow. Instead of marching Maddie in personally, Diziara gave her a shove in the direction she wanted her to go, and knelt down next to Noelle once Spiegel had Maddie covered with the phaser.

"Okay Lady, no funny stuff," Spiegel directed, and indicated she needed to get into the holding cell with the others. As she cleared where the force field went up, Spiegel palmed the controls on. One of the brutes bent down to check on Quinn. "Oh, he's fine. I checked his pulse like a dozen times in just the last hour." He glanced over at Diziara and Noelle, then started to fuss with the settings for the holding cell.

"Hey, are you okay?" Diziara asked Noelle, resting a hand on her shoulder. When Noelle didn't respond right away, Diziara caught her by the chin, and made eye contact. "Noelle, you in there? You can come back, we've got you." Diziara waited for some sort of response as Spiegel finished with his fussing with the holding cell.

"They should be in there for a while, it'll take someone a good bit of luck or hacking to get the code I set on that undone. She's going to be okay, right?" Spiegel expressed concern seeing Noelle.

"I think she found somewhere deep inside herself to hide while being interrogated, she should come back to us soon. Then she'll just need some rest and recuperation time, and hopefully she'll be good as new," Diziara answered as she stood and encouraged Noelle to do the same. "I wish I'd had some idea where Maddie had taken her, I would rather have gotten her out of it sooner." Diziara frowned.

"You did what you could, we gotta get out of here if it's going to matter though. If someone else comes along and catches us again, they'll probably do worse to her... What can I do to help?"

"Lead the way so we can get back on the Obama and get the hell out of Dodge," Diziara answered, putting a guiding arm around Noelle, and keeping the disruptor at the ready. Spiegel started off down the corridor, and Diziara guided Noelle along behind him.
