I was so afraid this was going to be the case... Damn. Of course this raises plenty of questions as to why the guy disobeyed police and jumped the turnstiles (as reported by multiple witnesses, anyway). This is the sort of thing we see from the LAPD and such all too often; when it happens in London, we are living in very bad times indeed. The whole incident was incredibly disturbing from the beginning but I really wanted to believe they'd thwarted a suicide bomber.
