Welcome to the fandom of Mashima's world! XD I highly encourage ye to read Rave, though its start may be misleading. (Trust me, it starts getting better as ye approach the middle. Ye can clearly see Mashima's improvement in his art, his change of style and the stuffs that inspires his later works.) Then once ye're stuck in the fandom... well, I'll introduce ye into the crackier side of the fandom. XD

There's actually site that has Chinese scanlations of Rave (here) ^^ though DragonGuard had started scanlating it on chapter 200-something onwards. Some scanlation team did the first 13 volumes, though I don't know if it's still online. (It was like, years ago) Mangahelpers has it the scanlations I think.
