I've been rereading American Gods by Mr. Amanda Palmer, also known as Neil Gaiman, and it's been slow going. As my subway ride into work takes about 10 minutes or so, I don't spend much time reading as is. Getting into work by train used to take me 75 before I moved to Amsterdam. That's when I used to read an awfully large amount of books. I haven't been able to switch to reading at home yet for some reason, so now I'm down to thirty and a couple of books this last year. But I'm digressing. I'm rereading American Gods and it's been slow going. Why? Because at several occasions I'm just done reading after a couple of minutes. The couple of pages, or just the couple of lines are so beautiful, profound or something else of that nature you can't do anything but stop reading and savor them. Until you reach your stop and have to go to work. In the full and pleasant knowledge you get to do it again on the way home.
