A humble coachride side by side
With tired feet and weary eyes
But dare I ask for such great luck
As to attain your silky touch?
Draw closer, nearer, wretched thee
Descretely, effortlessly tease
Then lean on me while music plays
And lay like this for days and days
Or say an hour quite instead
While my cheek rests upon your head
I feel your torso slightly rise,
Look down at you with broken eyes
You warmly press against my chest
As I feel you inhale a breath
Like fragile kittens lay on laps,
You breathe so softly as you nap
So more I listen; you exhale
My mind, heart, body you impale
I don't take granted when you breathe
For every time's a gift to me
In all the world, if I'd one thing
It'd be to hold you as you breathe
Yet how can something so minute
Kindle my heartbeat as you do?
