Once again, I don't know why Im posting because I think me and Oakley are the only ones that use this thing anymore.
But anyways, went to robs wedding last yesterday which was very nice. I was part of the 5-man sword detail, which ended as a 4-man detail since one of the guys was starting to sway and see double. And we figured it best for him to just go sit down then try to tough it out and end up passing out as the bride walks by and hacking her arm off with his sword on the way down. I'd post a couple pictures but I'm not sure who exactly has my camera right now, hopefully it will show up in a week or so.
But Niko was escorting one of the brides maids, and while he was eating dinner with her at the head table she asked him who the "cute guy with the big ears" was. Big ears??? come on, seriously. But I guess it was ok because when he introduced us she asked if she could rub my ears, yeah, a little strange but whatever, she was really cute. And she ended up being really cool, one of those girls that could just hang out with all of us and have a good time.
But overall, it was rather dissapointing after the wedding back home. I think they played 2 country songs the whole night, and we wern't even allowed to dance for one of them because it was the bride and grooms song(George Strait- I get carried away) So most of the night was people "dancing" to hip hop which I really don't consider dancing. Its more like gyrating until you break a sweat (or in some cases humping each other on the dance floor while people gather around you like apes and start grunting, waving their hands like they are trying to scare off a swarm of bees and thrusting their hips toward you in a way that made me want to put on safety glasses, or possibly a welding helmet because I was afraid of getting my eye poked out or possibly having an STD slung on me by a sweating, grunting, intoxicated ape. Lovely.
But really it was pretty fun, and all of the groomsmen and sword detail were in our blues so it looked awesome. Makes me want to stay in until I get married.
Oh and then the ride home that should have only taken about and hour and a half ended up taking about 4. But I really dont feel like talking about that right now....
