This all has to b some sort of horrible nightmare. One of the Marines that lived with us on ship, he is actually part of my sisters unit, and was my barber on ship.......well I just found out that while cliff diving in Hawaii (where he is stationed) went head first into a rock. Last I heard he can move his fingers (which the doctors were very surprised to see). But thats is about all I heard about it.
And then today my Mom calls asking how close my sister's camp is to Fallujah. I ask why and she said on the news that a suicide bomber hit a convoy there and 3 female Marines were killed. I told her that no, nikki's camp isn't close to Fallujah and I really didn't think it was. But then I pull up a map on line and her camp is less than 40 miles away from there. And the news report said that the female Marines were a detail they grabbed to help search females at vehicle check points. So now I am going out of my mind too watching news reports and trying to find stuff out online.
I never thought it was possible for so much shit to happen at the same time.........
