*frowns a little, automatically reaching down to at least straighten the top blanket*

*then she heads back towards her door, keeping an eye out*

[yeah guess who's sitting by her door, kinda half-asleep and frowning]

*heart does a stupid little stutter thing she ignores*

*kneels next to him, brushing his hair back gently* Mal?

[startles awake as soon as she touches him]

*smiles a little* I know. What are you doing here?

[blinks at her. slightly embarrassed.]

Thought y'were asleep.

Mmm, not yet. I went out for a bit, then I thought I'd have some tea, so I came looking for you in case you were still up.

[shrugs]

Sorta.

[gets to his feet, slowly]

*gets to her feet as well* Come in. I promise I won't give you that one kind of tea.

Yes. *opens the door*

*turns up the lights so it's not quite so dim and starts to make tea* You can come in if you don't want people asking you what you're doing out there. I usually sleep fairly soundly.

[finds a spot to sit down]

*chuckles and gives him a cup* Here. *settles on a nearby chair, tucking her feet up underneath her, and picks up her own*
