Oh, hai thar. Yes, I am still alive and blogging.
Woke up early to accompany my sister to take the entrance exam in PUP (Polytechnic University of the Philippines). We left 15 minutes before our scheduled departure, which was 10am, so that we'll be able to arrive in PUP before the test (12.30 pm).
And since it's a Sunday, we are expecting to arrive really early.
So I am about to pay the fare for our jeepney ride, when I realized something.
My wallet's missing.
"Uh, Andrea," I said to my cousin. "Did you notice me bringing my wallet out of the house earlier?"
"Nope. Why?"
"Uh-oh."
Brainstorming moment. Good thing my cousin have P60 with her for our fare, and went to Anonas to get my sister, who lives in a dorm in that area.
But when we got there, the landlady said that she just left.
Oh crap.
So I braved myself and called home. I could practically hear everyone on the other line giving me their own sermons (my mom, my dad, my uncle and auntie from Mindanao, and my other uncle who has a flight tonight to Guam).
Oh yay.
So my other sister, Kristy, came an hour later with my wallet, and escorted us ("I must make sure you guys make it to PUP.") to our destination.
And we arrived with 30 minutes to spare.
After dropping her off, my sister took her leave, and I went to Quiapo to finally buy a DVD for my Japanese professor last sem. So I found The Girl who Lept Time, and bought myself a DVD complete set of The Mischievous Princess ("What? I find it really funny.")
I saw that they're already selling Big Bang Theory season 2, but knowing that Season 2 is currently running (14 episodes so far), I decided to skip it and buy it when the season's over. And then I saw Seasons 1 to 5 of NCIS for P250.
Hm...must make ipon for that and buy it later on.
And then I recieved a text from Luigi (RF guildmate) saying that he'll come by to my house today to get the RF installer. I said, "Okay, but I'm out of the house right now. You can come by after 5pm."
I got back to PUP around 1.30 pm, and people are sitting around benches, ledges, under the trees, and wherever they can sit. I found a spot at the side of the Freedome Building, as they call it. Then I got hungry, so I bought myself a burger and gulaman. And then I sat somewhere near the stairs which is cooler and more comfortable.
An hour later, a stream of examinees started to come out. It took me sometime to spot my cousin.
We stopped at Gateway to get something to eat and buy a mouse for my uncle's new laptop (*is currently jealous*). We bought food from KFC, and I bought my uncle a small, red, and cute optical mouse xD.
(Which reminds me, I still have Funshots in my bag that I haven't eaten. I said that I'm going to give it to people here, but I totally forgot.
Oh well. More for me then, since they're all sleeping already. Ehehehe.)
So, we took a jeep back to Antipolo, and met up with Luigi and Alvia, his sister. He took us to our house, and my brother, Mark, gave him the cd.
Just a background, my brother and Luigi's sister were classmates in HS. But me and Luigi met online.
After a few hours I got a text from Luigi.
"Tere, sira yung CD." ("Tere, the CD's broken.")
*Facepalm*
Oh great. Now I have to look for that other installer.
