Yay for first post of the year! *insert dancing banana*
Last year had been full of mistakes, in my honest opinion. In the four years of my "personal discovery and testing," hitches appeared last year that could probably explain and answer some of the questions pertaining myself (if you have to ask, then I'm not going to answer :P). So I guess that is good, in a way.
I was able to move on with my thesis during the Christmas break, but not to the speed and amount of work I wanted to. Actually, I accomplished only a little bit, which is prolly my fault for I love to laze around and procrastinate. Hehehe.
But at least I started and finished a section. Just hope that I can finish it before the first week of school in January ends (note to self: must find anti-procrastinating drug).
So Christmas came, and I'm not expecting any gifts this year. True enough, I did not recieve any. For some people, like Carlo, that's a baaadd thing ("What?! You didn't recieve ANYTHING at all?").
Well, I find eating with more food with family more important than gifts. And besides, I like New Year's better than Christmas.
In connection to this, last Saturday, Carlo and his officemates had a team building overnight stay at Loreland Resort here in Antipolo (I am noticing a trend here...). Carlo arrived early so I can tour him around my hometown, all the while hinting that he wants to go to our house.
Situation about boyfriends in our house is not yet settled and finalize, so to spear some bloodshed and deaths, we didn't go to my house.
We had time to spare, so we went to Chepot's that afternoon to cheer her up. John and Shin came afterwards with noms. Then we had a DS party, some vids to laugh on, then we went back to Antipolo to meet up with Carlo's officemates.
First time I saw the resort fully (first time I went there, I brought food and felt mosquitoes eating me). They were a nice bunch. Even met someone who recognizes me from Miriam College (forgot her name again. Ugh). She wasn't that familiar because we have different majors, but she recognizes me as her friend's friend.
We left at six in the evening for a dinner date in Cubao. Yes. DINNER. As in the high class dinner place he found in Cubao.
Bellini's is an Italian restaurant in Cubao. Didn't know this place exists, and I was surprised to see the bars and thrift shops around it. The place was really cool, and the ambiance of the restaurant is amazing.
We had a minor disagreement about the singer though. I find him sucky. Carlo found him okay. Food was good. First time I had pesto, and was weirded out because it was oily (Didn't know it was supposed to be oily).
Want to go back there when I have a job already. Pigging out there would be a blast with just the two of us xDDD
The dinner was Carlo's gift to me for Christmas, because I didn't recieved any and he hasn't given me his gift yet at that time.
Mwee~!
