This post is supposed to be for yesterday
It's been more than two weeks since I've been OL. Although I am proud that I am not missing internet as much as other people do (erm...no offense), being online again makes my life a little faster and busier as before.
Well, since I'm not doing anything much this summer (and since finding a summer job is a bust because its already May), I am still trying to find things for myself to do, and ended up being busy. This includes unfinished works from the past year, new projects I'm taking up which is too long to list. *Sigh* I'm happy that I'm doing something while on vacation.
PS: YAY FOR NEW ANIME GUITAR CHORDIES TO PLAY~!!
Yesterday was Carlo's birthday dinner with family, but his birthday was last April 27th. I wasn't supposed to go at first (family issues), but I was able to persuade my mom. I went to Eastwood first to pick a gift for him. Actually, it was something I saw when I was there for a Toei convention.
I went to his house and gave his gift. Mwee~ I'm glad that he liked it.
We went outside to paint some of his Warhammer figurines. Some needs repainting. Some needs their eye colors changed. And some need their parts to be re-glued(Manananggal effect).
So while I was painting, Carlo took a bath, and joined me downstairs for a lesson on painting a Chaos Marine. He ended up constructing new ones instead.
His parents came and we went to Friday's for dinner. It's good that me and Christina shared an order of Fajitas (she got the chicken, I got the beef), because it was a huge order. Carlo was the only one who didn't share and enjoyed his shrimps, fries, and corn. Mwee~
When dinner was over, me and Carlo walked around for a while. We ended up in Neutral Grounds where we thought a game of Warhammer is being held at that moment. When we came back, they were sharing a dessert (Mudpie if I'm not mistaken), and I had the liberty and enjoyment of feeding the birthday boy some ice cream.
Carlo's parents were really nice. They even drove me home. First, we dropped off their Lola, Christina, and Anton. Carlo was so full he slept most of that time going to Antipolo. Carlo's parents were busy counting the Stations of the Cross that started from Edsa Shrine to Antipolo.
Going through Ortigas Ave. is slow and hell. So when they dropped me off, they went through Marcos Highway. Although its the longer route, its the fastest because of less traffic.
