Hm.. I just want to update various events and highlights that happened to me since last week.
I'll start on Wednesday.
Okay, wednesday. Bought a USB for P1,180, 1 gig, which is cool, because it's cheap (much better if I bought a whole computer set *sigh*). It is also the deadline for the UP AME Matsuri tickets, and I only sold four at that time (I got ten tickets). Maan and Co. bought the rest, that's why we met at KFC. Chepot was also there.
Afternoon. Dropped the ticket's money, and some masks for the matsuri. Asked for more tickets because Diego and Joanna (friends of mine that I met last Toei convention) wanted to buy too. So I went to FA building and met them there. Sean, Diego's cousin, was doing the a part of the structure of our horse lantern. So after some nice talk, and a little helping on the lantern, I went back to the UP AME tambayan to drop off the new tickets.
Apparently, no Fincom were present. Dropped the money the next day. Slept late because I have to finish the rest of the masks. That didn't happen, because I realized there are just too many of them.
Thursday. I went to help in the lantern a little. Also dropped the last batch of masks. Helped in the mask making in UP AME a little. I realized I just helped to one event because helping two events in half a day is hard and confusing.
Friday. Cousin's wedding. Went as a bridesmaid. I look okay, though they have to shave my eyebrows. Nyurk. Was the first to put on make up, and do hair. They used iron curlers to curl my hair. Plan to get one of those things.
Wedding started a little after six. Groom (now my Kuya Jay) cried. My aunt (also a bridesmaid; ever saw people who are not really that old, but turns out to be your aunt?) cried when she saw my cousin walked down the aisle. She is gorgeous I tell ya.
The wedding is short. So is the reception, which is the way I like it. Food is excellent. Actually, everything is excellent. They really planned for it (I heard it took them a year to plan everything, which is not surprising). Even the souvenirs are l33t! Arrived home around 1:30 in the morning.
Pictures? Hm..
Hahahahaha~
Saturday. UP AME Matsuri. Arrived at 10.30. Matsuri started a little after 1pm. Tickets sold out around 1.30 pm at the front gate; 2.30 pm at the back gate. More people came in this year. Wee~
I loved my first shift. I kinda hated the second one (maraming pasaway). Bored the hell out of me on the third. I loved my fourth shift. And forgot the fifth. Haha~
Fireworks at around 10:30 in the evening, but there are still more people, unlike last year. Yay~
My happy coat doesn't have a belt. Hm.. I need to bring that up in the tambayan. I paid for the belt, and I didn't get mine. I don't have an ID either. I can tolerate the ID, but can I have my money back on the belt? P100 din un.
Notice I type sloppy. I mean, I tell my story sloppily. Anyway, stuff that happened today: brownout most of the day, that's why there's no overnight in FA right now (how can we work in the dark?). Exchanged ghost stories. Finally helped around in the lantern because they really noticed my absence last week (I was busy with the wedding and the matsuri).
There.
