We're Still on LJ! A Multi-Fandom Friending Meme

Since a lot of us are noticing the empty spaces in our friendslists that were once filled with talkative, active posters- I figured I'd use my icon journal to start a multi-fandom friending meme for those of us still active on Livejournal to find others that are still around in our fandoms.

Name/Nickname: Real name is Dana, but for fandom purposes, I go by my high school nickname of Momo. Some have started to call me Kami as well, and that's totally fine by me.

Age: 24

Main Fandoms: Active: Yu Yu Hakusho, Hetalia Inactive: Doctor Who (I'm a noob, though - my boyfriend just started getting me into it), Sailor Moon, CLAMP, Final Fantasy (especially VII, VIII, and X/X-2), Nintendo in general, Vocaloid, Harry Potter, Power Rangers (MMPR through In Space)... I'm skipping a lot for the sake of brevity

Favorite characters:
Yu Yu Hakusho: The main four (Kurama, Yusuke, Kuwabara, and Hiei) are my faves, but I love pretty much everyone except for Elder Toguro and Dr. Ichigaki. XD
Hetalia: FACE is my top four (not in order, though), but as with YYH, I love pretty much everyone, though in this case I really have no characters I can say I truly dislike.
Doctor Who: Nine, Ten, Rose, Mickey, Captain Jack Harkness yes, I know he's featured more in Torchwood, but I like him as a Who character nonetheless... haven't seen enough past that point to have other favorite companions or anything.
Other fandoms: Ask and I'll be happy to answer. :D

Favorite pairings:
I'll ship just about anything given good enough reasoning and chemistry, but I'll list some of my OTPs for you all.
Yu Yu Hakusho: Kurama/Yusuke, Kuwabara/Yukina, Sensui/Itsuki
Hetalia: UK/US, Sweden/Finland, Greece/Japan, Austria/Hungary

What do you post about in your journal?: When I remember to post (not all that often, currently, but hopefully more so in future feel free to kick me if this doesn't come true), it's mostly chit-chat about RL with some fandom squealing thrown in.

What are you looking for in an LJ-friend?: Someone who shares a few interests, is friendly, and will pop by to comment every once in a while when I remember to update. I'm not high-maintenance. xD

Favorite Books: Harry Potter, Steven King, Sherlock Holmes, Edgar Allen Poe, Shakespeare, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (re-reading the whole series B]), pretty much anything by Oscar Wilde, Dracula, Frankenstein, Watership Down, Little Women (AND its sequels), The Hollows/Rachel Morgan series, anything related to mythology (especially Greco-Roman myth)... the list goes on and on and on. And don't get me started on fanfics.

Favorite Music: Oh boy... The Beatles, Elton John, Lady Gaga, VNV Nation, Lonely Island, Rammstein, Queen, Black Sabbath, Weird Al Yankovic, Green Day, Spice Girls you can all stop laughing now, ABBA, Adele, Daft Punk, Sarah Brightman, etc. I am eclectic as all get out when it comes to music.

Favorite TV Shows: Doctor Who, The Big Bang Theory, Futurama, Buffy, Whose Line is it Anyway?, CSI (all incarnations so far), The Muppet Show, NCIS, Mike and Molly, Jeopardy!, Robot Chicken, Metalocalypse, and many more. As far as anime goes... uh, it's probably easier to just ask than for me to list everything. I've rarely met an anime I didn't like for one reason or another.

Favorite Movies: Pixar films, The Princess Bride, almost everything by Mel Brooks and Monty Python, Miyazaki films, most films by Tim Burton, Kill Bill, Indiana Jones, Ghostbusters, Rosemary's Baby, Jurassic Park, Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Emperor's New Groove, Men in Black, Ghost in the Shell, The Lion King, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Seven Samurai, A League of Their Own, Titanic, Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl (it's so bad that it's AWESOME), and many more.

Other Interests: Magic the Gathering, history/politics, reading, writing, fiddling around with my 3DS entirely too much, collecting things, not really being interested in football but cheering on the Ravens anyway, geo-stuff (geography, geology, put geo- in front of it and I'll probably be interested), OCCASIONALLY SPEAKING IN CAPSLOCK WHEN EXCITED, etc.

Ahaha, you're right. I'm just so used to getting flack about it these days that I've kind of grown to expect it, no matter what crowd I'm in.

In any case, I've seen you around a lot in Hetalia fandom and you seem like a really awesome person. Plus, we have a few other interests in common. Would you like to be friends?

VNV Nation is fantastic! I've loved them ever since one of my LJ friends (who moved to Tumblr ;_;) introduced me to their music a few years ago.

Also, I had a sinking feeling I misspelled Poe's name. I blame the hour at which I filled this out. OTL
