We're Still on LJ! A Multi-Fandom Friending Meme
Since a lot of us are noticing the empty spaces in our friendslists that were once filled with talkative, active posters- I figured I'd use my icon journal to start a multi-fandom friending meme for those of us still active on Livejournal to find others that are still around in our fandoms.

Main Fandoms: Hetaliaaaaaaaa! Also MS Paint Adventures (which is on Homestuck right now, but I also like Problem Sleuth), I guess. Mainly due to the fact that I follow it and hang out with a lot of Homestucks on Skype, I don't really read a lot of fic or anything. You may also consider my lists of "favorites" below fandoms for the purposes of friending, even though I am not actually involved in their fandoms. I'll still post about them pretty often.
Favorite characters: America <3, England, China, Romano, Grandpa Rome. For Problem Sleuth, Death. He's so cute. For Homestuck, JAKE ENGLISH. Then Gamzee and Feferi, also Karkat is amusing I guess. If you want to know my favs from something on my fav lists below you can ask if you want, I won't bite, but there's no room here to list them lol.
Favorite pairings: USUKUS~! (Don't tell anyone but I can appreciate America shipped with anyone. Except Canada and Russia, and the younger nations. Literally anyone else.) I like crackships in Homestuck like Gamzee<3Feferi. Also, I like the canon Gamzee<>Karkat ship.
What do you post about in your journal?: Ummmmm nothing much recently ^^; I'll probably mainly talk fandom if I start posting again (which I may if I get friends who post more or comment!).
What are you looking for in an LJ-friend?: (this can include anything from 'someone who'll comment' to 'someone to RP with' etc.) Someone who shares interests and pairings and would like to discuss them hopefully, but if you are chill and will comment with nice things then I would be cool with that too.
Favorite Books: Any and all of Tolkien's works, the Sherlock Holmes stories, books by Agatha Christie, Jurassic Park, stuff by Jules Verne but especially 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Watchmen and Sandman (Graphic Novels totes count as books!). Books are my life, I kid you not.
Favorite Music: Oh goodness. It would be a song-by-song basis, but I really tend to lean more towards rock in general. Comedy like The Lonely Island and Flight of the Conchords. Also really cool like, big band music or opera. Catchy stuff in general; something that will stick in my head. I also have a weird soft spot for the Repo! The Genetic Opera and Chicago soundtracks.
Favorite TV Shows: Sherlock, The Big Bang Theory (it's apparently sacrilege for a nerd to like this show or something but I like what I've seen of it), and a lot of cartoons. Seriously like a lot of cartoons, especially from my childhood like Courage the Cowardly Dog or Invader Zim or Ed Edd and Eddy. Also yes, I do watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic because it's eye-catching and cutesy. As far as other anime besides Hetalia I like Neon Genesis Evangelion and Puella Magi Madoka Magica...not really a whole lot else actually.
Favorite Movies: Oh my, I like a LOT of movies. The Nightmare Before Christmas (and most other Tim Burton movies), pretty much any superhero movie like Iron Man and Batman Begins + The Dark Knight, The Lord of the Rings and the old Rankin Bass animated version of The Hobbit, 10,000 BC, The Last Unicorn, Howl's Moving Castle. A lot of others too.
Other Interests: Fish and other underwater things, reading, knitting, crochet, embroidery (so to sum up, needlecrafts or crafts in general), animals, cooking, drawing. Fantasy and adventure, learning.
Anything else?: I am pretty chill so friend me and fill up my friend page with your friendliness! I promise I don't bite much <3
