This was written spontaneously in response to 'Why Slumdog Millionaire is unbelievable' in the print edition of Mint Lounge a couple of weeks back..

I thought my point of view was ignored, but a couple of days back, I found out (thanks to Anush) that it was published in Mint Lounge.

I find the whole conversation disturbing....

any thoughts? (but please remember that both the article and response are written in an Indian cultural context)
