While warming up before first round of playoffs, i overhear 3 players on the other sideline.
"So which one do we have to worry about"
"The Short one over their with the crazy hair"
"You serious? Yeah, Jim said he burnt them for at least half the points"
"Damn, then the fucker must be a fast one"
HAHA, i finally arrived on the frisbee scene. Today was such a great day. Ppl are gettin to know me by name, our team got second place again, only becuase we played a stacked team that i knew would win after i saw them on paper the minute i got there. I had a great time, did alot of handling / deep cuts, and it was all working. Crazy stiff D, with about 4 foot blocks and a dozen in the air blocks. The best was when i completely shutdown a 2 v 1 in the endzone with a layout handblock. I had a great time.
Another cool thing... the "Bradenton" guys invited me to play in Savanah Tourney with them. To some this might not seem like a big deal, but they are all 2-4 years older than me, and they were impressed enough to ask if i wanted to play. So now i'm no longer a tag along at the hangouts and parties at other colleges, i'm gettin known.
