I went to my internship at Channel 10 today. It was sooo cool. My day started off with the morning news meeting. Reporters threw around story ideas for the 6pm news. Most big stories go on the 6pm because channel 10 doesnt have a 5pm news. After the meeting I was set up with a reporter and we went to Seminole to report on a lady who's neighbor was letting about 20 roosters run freely around his back yard. This lady has had to be put on Sleeping Meds because she gets awoken every morning at 6am from the roosters cocka doodle dooing in the backyard. It was a sight when we got there, kinda funny. We got some really good shots. The owner was cited by the city for code violation but he might be able to get away with it because he says these are "prize winning hens" which are supposedly considered pets not livestock. Once we did the interview and shot the tape, we went to lunch and then went back to the station to being to log video and write the script. Once the script was written I got to watch the reporter tape his voice over, and then the tape was sent to be edited. I left there around 430 so I got to come home and watch the story on the news. It was so cool to actually be apart of the process and then see the finished product on tv. I got new hours. I will be at Channel 10 on Friday afternoons/evenings and on Wed. at 5am.<-----thats not gonna be fun, but Ill get to write and do more for my portfolio.

I have to work tomorrow from 12-close. I'm going to try to get up early tomorrow before work to get my nails done, but Ive been getting up early all week, so it might be tough.

Tonight is movie night. Mathew and I are staying in and just relaxing. He is making me eggs and bacon right now. :) I'm spoiled.
Thats about it right now. I'll update more when something else exciting happens.
