Love. What is love? I don't think it really exists. There is no set definition for it. "Love is different for everyone." I do not think there is love. I think there is great admiration, respect, lust. But no love. I believe that love was created by writers to express how their characters felt. Because when someone says "love", you get an idea of what they are talking about. But the real thing...I think it's an illusion. Something to make everyone think it's out there & we're on a never ending search to find IT, or cannot wait until the day that IT finds us. Now, I could be wrong. WOuldn't be the first time I was. But, looking back, I THOUGHT I loved Chris Whittaker...but I had great admiration, respect, & lust for him. The same thing with Chris Jericka. But if love were true & really did exist, or if I was really in love with them, what happened to the love? I see older couples that have been together for 50+ years. I don't think that they love each other. The lust could certainly be gone from the equation but they have that admiration & respect still left for each other. Through the years they have formed a bond & became partners...but I don't think it's love. I dunno, this has just been on my mind lately. Funny, all this from a hopeless romantic.
