(no subject)
Coming back to Orlando has turned out to be a good thing even though it is for a very very short time. I got away from stalker..aka A...and got to see my best friend from high school that I love and miss so dearly. I got back sometime during the weekend and then we went to beach, saw Howie Day in concert, and just caught up on everything and I got back yesterday night. OMG, I had a blast at the concert...Howie Day is hot and amazing in concert. We had a blast even with the two guys that didn't seem all into it. After the concert we all went to eat at the Orlando Ale House and then I spent the night at Cori's (my best friend from HS). She is a smarty pants...goes to Vandy (vanderbilt), is a Alpha Chi Omega and well just an amazing person. No wonder we were best friends...jk. Anyway, we def caught up on all of our boy drama...she has been dating this guy for 9 months and really cares for him...I can tell. We ended up comparing boys and we figured if they were to meet they might just become best friends because they have the same quirks in common. It was so funny because we have experienced the same things even 600 miles apart. For example, we both were helping our boys pack up and well they both waited till the last minute and in the meantime downloaded music and movies. We made early morning (2am) runs to the storage places (aka as my house) and then finally went to bed around 4 only to wake up early the next morning to finish things and try to get on the road (well I didn't have to but B did) and well ended up leaving so much later than planned. It was just funny how similar things are. I miss Cori so much, we arent good at this whole long distance friendship thing. So I spent the night and we woke up to go to New Symerna Beach where her family has a condo on the beach. Lets just say it is amazing. We got to the beach and it was so beautiful. There was a nice breeze that made it nice enough to stay outside for a while and get tan. I def got a few shades darker...I hadn't been to the beach the whole summer. We had so much fun being girls, we got pedicures, ate our PB and J (long story) and just hung out. I had a blast. We watched The Diary of A Mad Black Woman...I really thought that would be stupid but it ended up being really funny. I was honestly suprised. Well the next day we did the same, I barely got burnt and I only did because I wasn't planning on taking my shorts off and then I did to go in the ocean and well forgot the whole sunscreen on my leg, oh well. We drove back last night so I could get my car from the dealership, new brakes, and she had to go to work today. It was great getting to see her and her family, I miss that part of my life a little now. We promised to stay in touch this time.
Nothing to new with B...ok well that is a lie...but I have decided to keep it to myself. We still talk almost every day and I think since I leave tomorrow and dont come back for a few days and wont have service, that this will be the longest we havent talked, kinda funny that it turned out this way because he is the one that is away. I have to admit, I like being in Tampa because I have a nosey family that has to know all my business and unless I am outside, I get bugged when I am on the phone. When he called the other day (3x) everytime my brother David would come around and ask who it was and then come back 5 mins later to see if I was off and then when I finally did get off he would ask how long the convo was. Oh the joys of younger siblings. Last night was kinda the night from hell...short version...my 14 yr old sis had three friends spend the night and well her room is right next to mine and they took the liberty of coming in my room and going through my stuff before they decided to watch 2 scary movies.
I leave tomorrow on a cruise for the weekend. I am kinda excited but not really at the same time because it is with almost my dads entire family including aunts and uncles. No one else is even near my age. I am planning on doing my own thing...enjoying the sun and ocean and just relaxing and catching up on my reading. Oh well, I will be heading back to Tampa early next week to finish unpacking and then retreat and recruitment...oh fun fun.
BTW...I am sorry if I dont get ur phone calls, I am really bad about leaving my phone on the other side of the house or upstairs or in my car for the entire day and I wont get the messages till like 10 hrs later. And the I usually will wait to call until after 9 because I can already tell you with B being gone I am over my minutes (thank goodness for family plans and roll over minutes), there wont be any left this month well especially with 3-6 hrs a week on the phone with just him (yikes)...
