Fun Times

So over the weekend I went "camping" with a small group from Hillel. Now when I say camping, it wasn't even close. lol. We stayed in air conditioned cabins with beds and went in a jacuzzi Saturday night. But I had a blast. We did Havdalah (the ending of Shabbat) around a camp fire and then made smores and roasted apples. YUM! Then we sat around and listened to Avi play his guitar and sang songs and played games. Then we got up at the ass crack of dawn....7:00am for breakfast (I almost died). But it was worth it because we got to go canoeing and the weather was absolutely beautiful....nice and warm once the sun got up high enough. It was so relaxing. Even though I was exhausted from the lack of my usual sleep, I was happy to get away for the weekend. I really needed it. All I have to do is make it through this week and then it'll be spring break!!! I'm so excited. I'll be going on a cruise to the bahamas on an alternative spring break trip with the hillel's of USF, UCF, and UF. My friend Sara Mendelson is going with UF and she and I went to Hebrew school together....so it'll be good to see her again. We're going to be doing something at a nature center in Freeport and then visiting an ancient cemetary and reading the megillah for Purim with the jewish community in Nassau. We are also going to have a Purim costume party on the boat! Yes! lol. Now I'm hoping that if some of you are coming to Tampa over spring break that you come after the 16th causwe that's when I'll be back.

After spring break I'll have Israel to look forward to! I'm sooooooo excited you have no idea! I had the interview meeting tonight and got to meet most of the people going on the trip....I can tell it's going to be an amazing group. :)

Good times good times. Just please let me survive the semester and get as close to straight A's as possible so that I have the best chance possible of being accepted as one of the 48 students into the college of nursing. ::Keeping fingers crossed::
