today has been a giggly-happy, ultra-domestic day. *squee* i'm making homemade minestrone and meatballs (not together - ew). and i must admit it is only to sate my cravings for italian food and my insistent desire to avoid one assignment that is due tomorrow. still don't want to be a reference librarian and therefore do not want to do the damn work for the damn class. *twitches* if i were to fail a class, it'd be this one. oh yes! house is finally decorated so i may start accepting guests soon. i'm thinking about having a party...maybe a halloween party for some SLIS people. there are quite a few single ladies in the SLIS program and most of mine and lance's friends are male and single...i am tempted to play matchmaker or at least provide the environment to let the lovin' occur on its own. *shrugs* we'llsee.
