camera obscura

Hello people of the internet. I recently built myself a homemade pinhole lens for my DSLR using only aluminum foil and cutouts from magazine pages. I can't really bring it outdoors cause I'm scared for my sensor to get filled with dust and whatnot. There's already this small worm-like thing and a few dots living in my camera's sensor (they appear only at f/10 and up, so they did show up when I used the homemade pinhole). It was a bit depressing since I've seen the dots before but never the worm thing since I hardly use numerically higher apertures.

Here are some of the test shots. I don't have my tripod with me right now so it's a bit blurrier than it should be. But yea, the dreamy soft focus vibe of the pinhole is expected.

These are mangoes that are in my kitchen. They are very delicious. I had a chance to eat some a while ago.

This is the sky. It is the outer layer of the earth that protects us from many crazy things from outer space.

This is my glass chess set. Chess is a fun game.

I think it's amazing that something so simple could be capable of capturing such shots. I've always been so interested in DIY. There's even this tutorial on-line that teaches you how to make pinhole cameras from matchboxes! Always remember, brilliant things aren't always expensive. Sometimes all you need is initiative and a little creativity.
