I feel like I write here too little.
Which is completely true.
I was told a couple nights ago that I am a writer, and I should not only do it more, but submit writings to publishers.

I'm not so sure about that.

The world (as most Americans know it) is in slight turmoil. The end of an era is upon us, and something new is happening. A presidential election is coming up, and today was a major deciding day ..
God.
I can't find my remote, and I really want to turn CNN off right now.
The way I look at it, we're coming to a time where things will either be terribly fixed, or terribly the same. Our current president, George Bush Jr., and his administration has ruined the ideal, the credibility of this country. We will never be looked at the same way again as a nation.
We're really not going to have it very good for a while, because of this mess. So, I'm going to side with the candidate whom I think fits that boat best. I haven't made a decision yet, and I doubt I will until day zero, but I have my assumptions, and sorry to say, they're bleak.
Living in Texas gives me little recourse, this is a red state. Which is fine, in some respects, but the Electoral College has negated my vote every time I've voted.
Look at the political map for 2004. See that tiny speck of blue in the center of Texas?
That's me.
That's US.
Shouting. Yelling. Something.
We have the technology now to count individual votes almost instantaneously. The only reason the electoral college was brought about was to cut down time on vote-counting.
GET RID OF THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE.
ONE MAN.
ONE VOTE.
Who really won the last presidential election?
