(no subject)
I'm off to California at Oh-Dark-Thirty tomorrow, I'll be gone for at least three weeks, maybe a month. I think we'll have rooms with doors and locks for most of the time, and power too. I'm pretty sure we'll even have internet access in Ops, so I'll try to stay in touch.
I'll be taking a bus there...it's a 27 hour drive. Ugh. So I won't be sleeping tonight, instead opting to clean my house and get everything ready. Then I'll be able to sleep for the bus ride tomorrow, and with a little help from my good friend NyQuil, I hope I'll be able to spend most of the ride passed out.
As for my inevitable deployment, the orders have been cut and we will be leaving mid to late October. The 7th of October, Sarah is coming out to see me and pickup my car, I'm giving it to her. She'll be flying out and driving back, and needs some people to help her drive back. Anyone wanna come see me for a week and then take an awesome roadtrip with my littlest sister? It'll be super cool...and we can party hardy :)
