(no subject)
Long time since the last update (over 3 months). Things are gonig pretty well.
The courseworks all went well. The domain name through ok, and is working, witha pretty good design. I bought some paid hositng space for it last night, so hopefully I can use graymatter or moveable type (maybe even embed my livejournal), for easier updating / archiving.
Christmas went ok, it was hard being away from Helen, but not too bad. My grandmother came up for Chritmas, and we went to see my grandfather over New Years, where we saw the Two Towers. Didnt get much for christmas, but there wasnt much I wanted. Got some nice things though.
Had exams after christmas, they werent too bad. Paradigms was first, and Software Engineering was last. They were mostly ok, except Computer Systems 3, which wa s apain, even though I did lots of revision - the module was just so broad and vague, with so much in it, the questions were from the most obscure past of the syllabus.
Still, they went ok, I averaged a first, (70%), and even passed CS3 :-)
Over the inter-semmester break, Helen came to my house, things went well, we had a nice time, walks and talks, then we went to her house, which was nice. She has a cute little bird, and we went for walks there too.
Bought a new graphics card recenty, a 128mb Geforce Ti 4200, Tv out, OTES (ie. it has a great big liquid heat sink, and lots of noise). Its great, can run BF1942, and Generals now. Twas pretty expensive though,
