Summertime is what I got
Ladies and gentlemen,
That's right. Today I bought Toffuti Cuties...what are Toffuti cuties you ask? Well...it's tofu in the delicious and wonderful form of a mint ice cream sandwich...what is the signifigance of this??? SUMMERTIME. That's right. I cannot wait anylonger....The weather is warming up...I'm craving surf...and swimming...and running...and riding my bike. That's right. Summmertime is approaching...A time to eat hummus and pita tosh at stir it up after a good surf...A time when Cafe 11 becomes a significant factor in one's life. A time where pineapple dominates over cake...A time of iced green tea, lemonade and water...A time when friends don't wonder what they are going to do at night because volleyball, swimming, playing on the children's playground, or walking the beach is prominant. This is a time ladies and gents where Bob Marley, Sublime, Jack Johnson, and 80's music dominates the ears of any true beach bum...This is the time where my goal is to be black...where I get paid to be in ridiculous shape and tan. A time where inflatble pool toys become an option as a surfboard. A time of resolution to be a better surfer...A time where one will drive down A1A beachside just to get a brief second of culture on the beach...A time where surf competitions come alive...A time where Discovery Channel drops the monster truck rallies to show Shark, Gator, and Tiger Week...A time when there are all day marathons of Full House and Boy Meets World...A time when country music decides to share their enthusiam by coming up with a song...such as "When the Sun goes Down" "No shirt, no shoes, no problem" and most recently "Redneck Yacht Club." I'm so excited. I'm in a very surfesque, summer lovin' mood right now...I cannot wait. God made me for summer this small town...and now that the weather is warming...It's time for me to start eating the good stuff...it's time for me to get air in my bike tires, and air in my lungs by running again...it's time to get excited ladies and gents, because for me, summer is here!!!
