Ok, if you knew someone for a long time, and you dated once or twice, but you're friends now, and then your friend gets in a relationship and they're told they can't talk to you anymore, because the other person doesn't like it, what would you tell them?
You're SUPPOSED to tell them FUCK OFF! WHY?! Because this person was here first, and will probably be here after you're gone. Because you've got history. Because friends don't just abandon each other. And because friends don't let anyone else make their decisions for them.
That's what FRIENDS do. Otherwise, friendship doesn't mean shit.
