with the internet, even though it has increased the distance from which people communicate, it has decreased the personal relationships which are so much more intimate when learning or exchanging content face to face. instead, groups of people with like minded ideas, thousands of miles away come together online unanimously to "like" certain ideas or phrases we deem true in photo chopped pics with phrases that express our ideals. is this the best we can do? is this what we have been reduced to? apparently going to protest at your capital building and yelling at the top of your lungs whats wrong with your country could land you in jail in a corporate run country. however people feel comfort fighting these battles from their computer by hitting the "like" button like its going to change the world overnight. If people on the internet actually cared as much as they seem to, who knows what could happen. just saying.....
