I've got the cold from hell and my head feels like a leaky pumpkin. Consequently, I've been reading a lot of trashy trash.

I am on Goodreads. . .somewhere. I haven't logged on in, like, a million years so there's nothing recent up there at all. Which I should remedy!

. . .I'll get back to you on that one. :D

I remember both Glass Mask and Mairelon the Magician quite fondly! (Glass Mask, OMG, how frustrated was I when I realized I'd read HOW many volumes and it was basically just the longest WIP ever?)

Also, I read Soulless on the plane and it was the kind of fun light reading just perfect for that.

Ahahaha. Oh god, Glass Mask really is the longest WIP ever. I mean--how long did it take Maya to clue into the fact that Hayami was the Purple Rose Guy? FOREVER. But I love it anyway. There is no hope for me.

Also, thanks for the rec. I'd been wondering about that series. Now I should probably get off my ass and check it out.

To be fair, all manga is wip until, well, it isn't. It's just kind of surprising that a series that has been running since 1976 is still unfinished. But, hey! If it's any consolation, it does look like they're going to actually tie up the Crimson Goddess arc sometime in the near-ish future. Who knows when Hayami will clue into the fact that Maya doesn't hate him. This is honestly the closest to finished I've ever seen this series, you know, 45 volumes in.
