Lover Lay Down is a great three-part Spashley short. It is a deeper exploration of the last events of 'What Just Happened?' (Season 1, Episode 10) and then a remake of 'The Morning After' (Season Two, Episode 1).
As much as I love good smut, something that does not pull punches and gets raw - I like it when someone goes all the way with emotions... and still makes it sexy.
When I think of the scenes from the show itself, I know I will be putting this fanfic in its place somewhat, it's just that awesome.

My show was excellent. I celebrated the good ol' U.S.A. and being gay/lesbian/bi/trans/queer. And every point in-between. Only one hiccup (damn you Tom Waits! lol) and nice little chat with Brad Watson, fellow DJ.
And Sander called up - nice to talk to him. Rob touted me on Facebook. Love it when my music co-horts join in on the fun. :D
Had a very lazy July the 4th. Slept for most of it. Wrote some as well. Ate some great Mexican - which, you know, is that sacrilegious on an American holiday?
However. Have today off for said holiday! Woo!
Am going to spend it listening to cds and talking about them.
And buying flip-flops. And other things. :)
