But I had to put this up here and see what any of you might/might not agree with.I am not the biggest sci-fi/fantasy fan ever, but I do enjoy it more so than other genres of film/television. However, with this particular list... well, I agree with the Martha Jones bit. Not because the character is bad (because I freakin' love Martha more than all ( Read more... )

LOL I hated all the forced sexual tension, it was incredibly contrived and they did it throughout new Who. I really enjoyed the end of this series (watched it last night) and am really looking forward to a new dynamic in the TARDIS.

Part of what was off, to me, was that the first couple of stories at least seemed to be written for Tennant's doc, not Smith's. There was the same problem when Tennant took over, and the first couple of stories were actually written before Eccleston decided to quit and they just didn't really bother editing them. They may be the same character, but they are different personalities.

This season was a bit hit and miss, and tried to dance too much between aiming at kids and aiming at grownups. They should go back and look at some classic Who to see how that's done....without plagiarising their own canon again (Chris Chibnall is a useless tool of a writer but he must suck cock spectacularly to keep getting work).

You seen Little Dorrit? Apparently Freema is in it. I haven't been watching, even though I should have. I don't mind me a bit of Dickens at times :)
