Grrr. I need a USB cable. Like yesterday.
Anyway. I have icons to explain, thanks to
revolos55! :D
Right. So I fell into this German soap-opera like Alice down the proverbial hole, into a wild world of a language I do not speak and of lesbian loving that I had yet to see on US television.
And I love this little scene where Carla Von Lahnstein is getting out of the pool... because I find her incredibly hot and because she infuses her character with so much confidence. [drool]
*
And Carla Von Lahnstein wouldn't be so great if the actress playing her wasn't so damn sexy and cool. So yes, this is Claudia Hiersche, looking damn fine.
*
Oh Natalia, how I love thee...
It is a simple icon and the phrase is so perfect for the scene used - Natalia calling Olivia, who is in San Francisco, and wanting Olivia to come home. It is sweet and heartbreaking all at the same time.
*
It is just hilarious. The amount of times you hear 'Kara Thrace' and 'special destiny' put together in BSG is amusing... and c'mon! It would make a great name for a band!
*
This one always helps to remind me that there is always a new day with the dawn and new worlds to discover. It is a slice of heaven to me, this constant realization.
*
Mwwhahaha! Oh this is priceless. I can just hear Paula Carlin saying this in the background (or foaming at the mouth, whatever). Just a simple icon with a great impact - Ashley and Spencer kept apart by religion. ;)
So.
It is the last week of Guiding Light and I am sad about it.
The end of an era, as they say. And it blows.
Foot is doing okay-ish.
No work today. Doing things around the house and writing some. Might lay out in the sun later.
Have a good day, all of you out there <3
