The Bifrost Family Awesomesauce Challenge » Gen. 4 Ch. 1
Previously in The Bifrost Family Awesomesauce Challenge:
Magnus became a teen. Nero was a ~rawk star~ and reached level 8 in the singing career. Magnus had a pillow fight with Abbie, a girl he likes, and somehow managed to royally (heheh) piss her off. Victoria aged into a young adult. An heir poll was had. Proceed!

Lusa: "Come, Magnus! Join your aunt on her journey to the moon!"
Magnus: "Y'know, I'd love to, but I hear my homework calling me home for supper- I mean, my mom's calling me to do my homework- I mean... I dunno I just don't want to OKAY BYE."
Lusa: "Suit yourself, then. I'll just have to fight off these moon creatures by myself! I can take 'em!"
Lusa: "W-wha- Whoa!"
Lusa: "Shit, they have a levitation beam! ABORT MISSION!"
Now that Tori's a young adult, it's time for her and her parents to move out. This is always my least favorite part sdhfksjdf. D:

As a fresh start, I moved the Bifrosts into starlightdiner's adorable Buttercup Cottage. I just purple-ified it for the next generation.
So, as I'm sure you're all aware, Anastasia won the heir poll! And as you can see, she cannot contain her excitement.
Anastasia: "Hey. It's my birthday and I'll be a raging ball of hormones if I want to."
If looks could kill amiright ahahaha I know I hate when people say that too
Ruth: "THERE IS SOMETHING IN THE WAY. THERE IS SOMETHING IN THE WAY. HELP. S.O.S. I REQUIRE ASSISTANCE."
But
Ruth
there's nothing th-
Ruth: "HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO CONTEMPLATE MY SURROUNDINGS WITH ALL THIS AIR IN THE WAY?"
Nero: "I know, love, I know."
Aw, quality grandma/grandson time. :3
Nero: "Oh, sorry Grandma! I guess I don't know my own strength, hah. Are you alright?"
Cornflower: "Oh, yes, I'm fine... despite the fact that you threw a baseball into my hip going about 80 miles per hour... no biggie."
Cornflower: "Hhhrrrmmph... kids these days..."
Nero: "Oh Grandma, you're so funny when you're keeled over in pain."
Yes. He actually just sat there smiling.
Back inside, it was time for our heiress to become a young adult.
Nero: Oh god... why.
That's better. Anastasia's fifth and final trait is bookworm, making her a slobby, bookish, disciplined loner with an eye for photography. She dreams of having a world class gallery.
Magnus: "Hey Abbie, it's Magnus. I think we kinda got off on the wrong foot last weekend, and I was wondering if you wanted to hang out again someti-"
Magnus: "Wait, what? You're still mad at me?! But I don't even know what I did! C'mon Abbie, I'm really sorry, and I- hello?"
Magnus: "She hung up on me! Girls, man... it's like they live to make you miserable."
Despite the fact that their children are nearly grown, these two are in love as ever and still roll wishes for each other all the time.
Some might say they're a little too in love, in fact. And by some, I mean Magnus.
Magnus: "Do they even bother to check if we're in the same room anymore? This is getting ridiculous, honestly. They're like rabbits. Rabbits, I tell you!"
Anastasia: "Well, I for one think it's adorable. I only hope I'm lucky enough to experience that kind of love one day."
Magnus: "Well, I for one think you need to stop watching mom and dad make out and call that boyfriend of yours instead. You seem like you could use some.. ugh, it makes me gag just saying it... companionship."
Filed under: Nero being cute and stuff on stage. He's now level 9 in the singing career.
So Nero's had the wish to become a business partner for a while now, and I finally had him sit down and do it. The Bifrosts are officially owners of Flying V's Coffeeshop!
The next day was graduation day for Anastasia. She was pretty excited.
Anastasia: "After I graduate, I'll be free to finally travel. Shang Simla, here I come!"
That was literally the first wish she rolled after her YA birthday. And she can get her first crappy camera there, so I figured why not.
They ran into a newly-pregnant (!) Lusa at Anastasia's graduation. Turns out it's graduation day for Victoria as well.
Lusa: "Hey guys, it's so good to see you both! So how's the family?"
Ruth:
Magnus:
Lusa: "...Guys?"
Lusa: "Well whatever, I didn't want to talk to you guys anyway! And hey Ruth? THIS IS FOR YOU."
Because sims don't know how to properly use their middle fingers.
Well, at least Lusa has Andre. And this lady.
Who started taking notes as they flirted.
Lady: "Bouquet of flowers... a nice touch. Gotta remember that for my next date."
And who also proceeded to squee as they flirted.
Lady: "Omigosh, Nero Midnight's sister Lusa and her husband are like, my ultimate OTP!"
Lady: "omgomgomg"
Lady: "SO"
Lady: "MANY"
Lady: "FEELS."
Thus is the life of a fangirl.
But then I guess she found someone else to fangirl over, presumably the guy in her thought bubble. Made me a little sad, actually. I liked her.
She did come back to fangirl over Anastasia after she graduated, though, who was voted Most Likely to Write a Best-Selling Novel.
Lady: "Yayyyy, good for you, Nero Midnight's daughter!"
Once she returned home, Anastasia took her brother's advice and invited over a newly aged-up Carlo.
Anastasia: "Carlo! You look, ah... wow. You look great."
Carlo: "Thanks babygirl, you don't look so bad yourself."
Anastasia: ~swoon~
Nero: "AHEM. Who does this guy think he is, calling my baby girl his babygirl?"
Meanwhile, in the upstairs bathroom...
Ruth: "ljshdkfjhlsd WHY."
Ruth: "ANASTASIA!"
Lucky for Anastasia, she'd already left the house to go to the pool with Carlo.
Anastasia: "HA! Told ya I'd win!"
Carlo: "Alright, alright, you've earned bragging rights."
So Carlo is officially Anastasia's live-in boyfriend. But it was around this point that I realized that he has some... issues with commitment, if you will.
Carlo: "Ugh, who was watching this lame chick flick? Marriage? Nooo thank you."
But that didn't seem to deter Anastasia, at least for the time being.
Anastasia: "Hey... Carlo?"
Carlo: "Yeah?"
Anastasia: "I love you."
Carlo: "I... ah... really, really care about you? A lot?"
Anastasia: "...What?"
Anastasia: "Carlo, we've been dating since we were sixteen! You can't even tell me that you love me?"
Carlo: "It's not that simple, Ana. I'm going to be honest with you. Ever since I had my birthday, long-term relationships have, well... sort of freaked me out."
Anastasia: "So... you're saying you want out of this relationship."
Carlo: "No! No, not at all. I guess I'd just like to take it slow, if we can? I really do care about you, Ana. I just don't know if I'm ready to take that step just yet."
Anastasia: "Well... when will you be ready?"
Carlo: "I don't know. Look, can we just forget about this for now? It's late."
Anastasia: "I suppose."
And forget about it they did. Things seemed almost back to normal by the morning.
Nero: "Ruth?"
Ruth: "Yes, dear?"
Nero: "Who is the strange, half-naked man standing in our kitchen?"
Ruth: "I believe that's our daughter's boyfriend, dear. He lives here now, remember?"
Nero: "Right. Joy."
That brings us to the end of another chapter. Next time:
- Prom!
- Gen. 5 (!) babies!
- Birthdays!
- And, more likely than not, more drama!
