I tried to get this posted sooner, but LJ is being a butt today.
The idea for this challenge came from useful_icons' Ideas Entry. Someone posted the idea of having ethnic food as a challenge. Since we've never done anything like this I thought it was a great idea.
I picked Chinese food becaue it's my favorite. See that's the advantage of being the Mod. ;)
I'm adding a little twist to this challenge. You will be making icons of Chinese food using only the graphics and textures I've provided.
Challenge 22...Chinese Food" Special voting category will be Most Creative. Please keep that in mind when making your icons.
I've done something different with the graphics this time since you need more to choose from. You can go to the link below and browse through the graphics and textures. Pick which ones you are going to use and download them to your computer. If you have a problem viewing the graphics or textures please let me know

Some textures I'm unsure of their origin.
Basic Rules
PLEASE READ THE RULES CAREFULLY as they differ from previous challenges.
+ You may make up to 3 icons
+ Use only the graphics and textures provided.
+ No animation
+ You may use text, but no other brushes or textures or gradients other than the ones I have provided.
+ All icons must be original, including cropping. Do not use other people's bases. Do not use old icons.
+ Do not post your icons anywhere until voting is over.
+ All icons must meet LJ standards of not more than 100x100 pixels and not more than 40kb in size
Please submit your icons in a comment to this entry only. I think everyone knows the format for submitting icons by now. If you need a review please see the User Info.
This entry is locked. I don't want a bunch of strays going through my Photobucket account which will be open to the public till this challenge is over.

Icons are due Sunday, December 10th at 9:00 PM CST, 10:00 PM EST.
The World Clock
We will be taking an extended break after this challenge due to the Holidays and Header Challenge 2. Which I will will be posting after this. :)
