HNNNGH. You make her so angry. At first it was just the whole reading minds things! She thought that it was cheating and a huge invasion of privacy, although she can't really talk since she can't mind her own business BUT. It would be a different story if he only used it during emergencies and such, but the fact that he does for no reason at all makes her... well, angry. But she still thought she could deal with him!! And then she realized that he was a douche all over.

So. Katara hates bad guys and all that. So she automatically put Hyobu on the WHY DO YOU EXIST YOU PISS ME OFF SO MUCH list. So because of this, she automatically thinks everything he does is something bad, even if it's... not. She's very stubborn once she decides someone is bad okay. So even if he does something that's relatively normal she will suspect him and nag him and think he's a horrible person.

... although finding out why he's like that made her rethink things a little. Since uh, she hates betrayal almost more than anything. So now it's her own little personal mission to get him to realize that normal people aren't food bad!! But she still thinks he is a terrible person who should get his ass beat, and she is secretly hoping someone more powerful than him teaches him a lesson. Or something.
