So, I've got a question for you guys. Does anyone know a “Minako Arisato”? She was claiming to go to the same school as us, but with a last name like that I've seriously gotta wonder what else is going on. [ a pause, and a small huff. ] Please tell me I'm not going crazy.
[ there's another pause, almost as though yukari's remembering something else that she wanted to say. ]
Oh, and who else knows about the other Persona users that are here? I know it doesn't make much of a difference since we can't summon them, but the idea of there being more-especially from the future-is kinda ...weird, don't you think?

So, this place really isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I mean, it could be worse, all random bug attacks aside, right? It's still not as nice as home, of course, but I guess I won't mind being here so much.
There's one thing that bothers me about this place, though. Where's that music coming from? And I'm not talking about the radio on the PokéGears, either. I haven't seen any speakers around, but it doesn't ever seem to end. It's kinda annoying when you can't tune it out.

[ it's early in the evening just outside cherrygrove where yukari's still hanging out-she got a job for some extra money and has spent some time preparing for another long journey through the routes of johto. she's sitting on a bench near the edge of the city, her pack open beside her; shadow, her houndour has decided that he's through with napping and has decided to look through said pack. it doesn't take long until he finds something to his interest: an empty pokeball.
after pulling it out of yukari's pack, he places it in her lap and sits back, tail wagging. it takes only a few seconds for yukari to realize what the dog-like creature wants to do. with a grin, she gets to her feet and tosses the ball-but while shadow gallops off to catch it, a yanma swoops down from above and plucks the ball right out of thin air, prompting the houndoor to snort a few hot embers the bug pokemon's way. ]
Wh-Hey! Knock it off, guys! [ and now it's yukari's turn to chase down her bickering animals to keep them from killing each other. meanwhile, one could swear her pidgey is laughing at the entire scene. feel free to play fetch with her and her pokemon or help her break up the fight. ]
