Ace isn't from the reality you and me know-in fact, I distinctly remember which paradox he's from. In short, he died. He died in the incinerator like... like me.
But I digress. I'm saying we use this to our advantage. We can bend the truth, and even make up complete lies, because Ace has no way of proving or disproving them. Though, what I'm thinking is...
We kill you. Rather, we pretend you're dead back at home. Get it?

Because it'll mess with him! He'll drive himself crazy thinking about all the reasons why you died. Since I survived, and hinted that Ace survived as well, he'd get totally confused about why you, my dear big brother, had to die. Obviously, he'll think I'm lying about one thing or the other-whether you die or he lives. I'm guessing he'll think I'm lying about his life because... well, who would lie about their brother dying?
He'll think something happened in the field-something he overlooked-because of your death. He's spent his whole life busying himself over every minuscule detail about the field, and if it he believes that you died...
Well, let's put it like this. If you did die, don't you think I would go back and retry it again, so you lived? It's kind of easy once you think about it-we're siblings so we want to protect each other. Ace knows this. So if I was given the opportunity to protect you, but didn't take it, don't you think he'd get really confused?

[... Don't think he doesn't think something's off about you, dear little sister. Still, nothing he can really call out on yet.]
Yeah, I get it. There's a lot of ways it could backfire, though. One of the others might accidentally spill the truth. Or the bastard might come up with his own explanations for your so-called lack of action and just settle with those.
I mean, if you really want to go with this, I don't mind playing the part of a dead guy, but I don't think this'll go as smoothly as the Nonary Game.

Well, the others don't know about the other "paths". If we pretend that you and I are from a separate path, where everything is the same, save for your death, I think we'll be able to play the "ignorant" role, like Ace.
As for Ace, well... I'm assuming a lot, I admit, which is never a good thing, but I think even if he assumes something, it'll keep pissing him off until he can test it out. It'll be like a psychological bug, eating away at his brain until he gets back home.

[A sigh]
And that's where we hit a problem. I've spoken to a few of them-Junpei and Seven, I think-a lot about what happened at the end of the game, since there was some discrepancy with Seven's memory there.
Anyway, it's pretty obvious to them that we're from the same path. Wasn't exactly expecting the possibility of me faking my death in the future, you know?

I'm sorry. Ugh--I should've thought about it, more. Now you're in danger and--fuck it--it's my fault. Damn, just--

... And just so there isn't any confusion, explain to me exactly what you're hoping to accomplish with this?
