Title: Seven Minutes

Summary: 'Uhm. Megan - uh, Megan wants to play seven minutes in heaven.'
Notes: iTunes fic memes seem to be floating around nowadays. This one goes a little something like this:
1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Turn your music player on and turn it on random.
3. Write a drabble/ficlet related to each song that plays. You only have the length of the song to finish the drabble; you start when the song starts and stop when it's over. No lingering afterwards!
4. Do five of these and post them.

V. Tell Me Sexy, Lovin' Lines | 'It's All Wrong, But It's All Right [Live]' ; Michael Johns ; 1:50
When Adam begins to move, Kris loses his ability to breathe. Nothing is real anymore, nothing exists anymore but him and Adam and the rhythm the latter has set. It is slow, it is tantalizing, it is better than Kris could ever have dreamed of. The black-haired singer above him quickens his pace and lets his lips ghost over Kris' neck, eliciting a satisfied moan that transforms into a yelp as Adam's teeth bite down in time with his thrusts. He bites his lip and arches as Adam moves faster faster faster fasterfasterfaster until Kris is raking his nails down Adam's back and he feels his body tighten and -- "Oh, God, Adam."
Adam waits until both of their orgasms subside before he pulls out and hovers above Kris. He kisses Kris vigorously before pulling away to look him in the eye and give him a satisfied smile. "You're perfect."
Kris turns his head away and bites his lip. "You're just saying that." His voice is lost in the sound of Adam licking the semen on his stomach, lightly dipping his tongue in Kris' navel and drawing a low sound from Kris' throat.
"You're not believing me," Adam whispers, and he can feel the taller man's lips smile against his skin.

I. Your Hands Around My Waist, Just Let the Music Play | 'Don't Stop the Music' ; AI7 Top 8 ; 2:48
When Matt blasts the song, Adam recognizes it immediately. He looks around at the rest of the top thirteen and catches Kris' eyes immediately. The brunet looks surprised, as though he didn't know he'd been that obvious, before he blushes and looks away. A slow smile spreads across Adam's face as he grabs Megan away from her conversation with Michael, their protests aside.
"What happened to Mr. 'I'm-Such-a-Gentleman,' Lambert?" Megan grins widely at him as he leads her to the center of the patio, straight underneath the lights.
"When the music comes on," he answers her with a wink, "Mr. 'I'm-Such-a-Gentleman' Lambert is gone."
The beat is as catchy as ever as he and Megan sway their hips and playfully pop their chests in time to the song before she rests her forearms on his shoulders and he encircles her waist with his hands. "Oh, I see what you're doing here, Adam."
"Oh, yeah?"
"Kris can't stop staring at your ass."
He snorts and jokingly replies, "Of course. Whose ass are we talking about here, honey?"
"His, too, sweetie," Megan says saccharinely, moving closer to Adam as Lil and Matt join them. "I've seen your little sneaky glances."
Adam freezes for a fraction of a second before he continues to dance to the beat.
(He'd really thought he'd been sneaky enough.)
IV. Take Me by the Hand and Lead Me Through | 'The Earth, The Sun, The Rain' ; Color Me Badd ; 4:16
"So, uhm. About a few days ago?"
Adam grins at Kris from across the counter as Allison and Lil scamper away to pester Matt about Danny impersonations. He raises the bowl of chocolate-dipped strawberries he'd been eating since God knew when and, purposefully dipping his fingers in the chocolate syrup before raising a fruit, he extends his slim fingers in Kris' direction and asks, "Strawberry?"
A blush as red as the fruit in Adam's fingers stain Kris' cheeks. "No, uhm," he manages to stutter before he has to look away from Adam, "n - no, thank you."
"Suit yourself," Adam responds smugly before he turns on his chair so that an elbow is resting against the counter and his profile faces Kris. He tips his head back and allows his mouth to close around the small fruit. He takes a bite, pulls the fruit away from him, shuts his eyes, and, holding on to the strawberry with his thumb and ring finger, he slowly licks the chocolate syrup off of his fingers.
"All right, dammit!" Kris exclaims as he pushes himself off of the counter and stomps around to Adam removes the remains of the strawberry from his fingers. Intertwining their hands, Kris twists Adam's chair so that the taller man's back is toward the counter.
Adam looks at him with curiosity dancing in his eyes. "Aren't we a little pushy today."
Kris takes two deep breaths before he stares Adam squarely in the eyes, and Adam can't help but think how beautiful the brown of his eyes are, how he hadn't possibly noticed them before. "So. About a few days ago?" the brunet says, eyebrow raised.
Adam raises an eyebrow in suit. "Strawberry?"
He laughs out loud as Kris frowns at him, but is immediately hushed as his mouth is captured by Kris', who pulls away and breathlessly declares, "No. No, thank you."
(Strawberries aren't sweet enough anyway.)
III. Nobody Said It Was Easy, No One Ever Said It Would Be This Hard | 'The Scientist' ; Coldplay ; 5:11
"Is it just me, or did Adam catch the plague?"
Anoop's question startles Kris. He looks up at his fellow competitor and frowns, coughing to hide his lack of a response. He swallows, looks back down at his song lyrics, and then refuses to look at Anoop until he finally sits down next to Kris on the couch, throwing an arm around the brunet's shoulders.
"I mean, you've been avoiding him like he had Megan's flu."
Kris bites his lip. "Okay, for real, dude? I'm not avoiding him."
Anoop snorts. "Wonder how it's like in your bedroom." Kris looks at him with an incredulous look on his face. Anoop continues, "I mean - seriously. You don't talk to him, you don't answer him when he says 'G'morning,' you don't even look at the poor guy."
Kris shakes his head. "It's - nothing. Don't kill yourself over it."
Almost immediately, the look on Anoop's face turns somber and thoughts are coming out of Kris' mouth scrambled. "I mean - for real, man, it's - it's nothing, you know? Just a little misunderstanding, we'll work it out, and, like - "
"Okay, seriously?" Kris turns away, almost afraid to face the brutal honesty he can see written clearly across the other singer's face. "Last time I checked, acting like he doesn't exist isn't working it out."
"Look, man." Kris hardens his face and steels his voice. "It's nothing; just - just stay out of it."
"Whatever." Anoop removes his arm from around Kris, stands up, and stretches. "Your friendship on the line, not mine."
Kris can't help but instinctively twist his wedding ring.
(There's so much more on the line than just friendship.)
II. Roll With the Punches 'Cause You Know That It's Inevitable | 'Bada Bing! Wit a Pipe!' ; Four Year Strong ; 4:13
Adam is halfway through changing his shirt and facing the doorway as Kris walks into their bedroom. He has both arms out of the shirt with the article of clothing lazily draped across his shoulders and limply hanging on his neck. He notices the wide-eyed look of surprise on the other singer's face before Kris clears his throat and sheepishly buries a hand at the nape of his neck.
"Hey, man," he begins slowly, "I - uh, you know, didn't mean to barge in on you there. I, uh -"
Adam removes his shirt all the way, turns around, bends and grabs a shirt from his open suitcase, and then turns again to face Kris. "Don't worry about it," he says, fluidly shrugging the black v-neck on. He quickly runs a hand through his hair and lets it settle on the back of his head. Tilting his head slightly, he asks, "What's up?"
"Yeah, uhm." The blush on Kris' cheeks further endears him to Adam. "Uhm - yeah. You know, uhm -" Kris coughs and squirms. "Uhm. Megan - uh, Megan wants to play seven minutes in heaven." After he says it, he looks like he wants the floor to open up underneath him and swallow him.
"And Michael actually agreed?" Adam shakes his head and disbelief and lets his hand drop to his side. Before Kris can say anything, Adam says, "Never mind," grins, then continues, "Well, they can't have all the fun."
Twenty-nine minutes later, after Alexis and Matt have already returned to the group from a bathroom near Lil's room, Adam and Kris find themselves in the kitchen pantry, silence between them. A minute and fifty-four seconds later, Kris speaks up. "Do you, uh, do we, you know, really -?"
Adam lets his gaze wander to a can of Campbell's before he looks at Kris. "Not if you don't want to."
Kris is silent again, and there is no noise in the room until five minutes and seventeen seconds later. "Do we actually really have to -?"
And Adam says again, "Not if you don't want to."
"Do you want to?"
Adam swallows; the quickness with which Kris replies catches him off guard. He allows his eyes to flicker quickly to the wedding ring on the other man's finger before he says a third time, "Not if you don't want to."
(Yes. Yes, but you can't possibly understand. Yes.)
It is only after they exit the pantry that Adam realizes he'd said that out loud, too.
