I'm alive! Well, kinda. I know when I transferred over from maybedarkpink to this journal I promised that I'd not be running off and going MIA like I did before, but, well... life's not that simple.
Shortly after I last posted, I got really sick (again). This time, thanks to the doctors at the Chiari Institute on Long Island, we were finally able to figure out what's wrong with me. I had spinal surgery at the beginning of November, and am finally starting to recover/be mobile after that. I may have another surgery in 2008. Anywho, that's where I've been. Now that I'm feeling (a little) better, I'm going to try to come back to lj and fandom. Maybe tomorrow. Lol.
So question: Is livejournal/fandom still okay? Just briefly from where I've come on in the last few minutes I've seen about the adult content flagging thing and now that LJ has been sold, yet again. I haven't checked the f-list yet, which I was even still in the process of rebuilding, but again, hopefully tomorrow if my health continues to hold.
What are you guys up to? Are you okay? Doing well? What fandoms are you into? How depressed are you about the writer's strike stretching out? Give me a shout and let me know.
I'm really loving Gossip Girl, Pushing Daisies, and Torchwood right now, and I've become more obsessed than ever with General Hospital. (And of course when I'm sick and lounging around it gives me an excuse to watch lots of Buffy and Angel DVDs.)
So yes, hopefully I'll be re-appearing for good tomorrow or sometime soon. Right now I need to go to bed, cuz I'm kinda tired.
I also have a non-fandom blog (Little Miss Cloudshine) that I've been updating some.
But mostly, again, how are you?
